Macs Asur universal gel stripper
Universal gel stripper that strips several layers at the same time. It is mainly used to apply on paints, lacquers, glues, enamels, antifoulings, varnishes and 1-component coatings. For use in industry, facades, restoration, civil works, the nautical sector, workshops, boilermaking, maintenance, etc. Highly biodegradable.
-macs Asur is a gel stripper that mixes slowly evaporating esters and special solvents. Asur stripper is free of chlorinated hydrocarbons, dichloromethane, aromatic hydrocarbons and paraffin, and is not corrosive to the skin.
-Plastic container of 1L, 3L and 10L.
-macs ASUR is indicated for the stripping of several coats at the same time on solvent-resistant bases, for both large and small surfaces, indoors and outdoors, and is capable of stripping the vast majority of 1-component paint systems, such as paints dispersion, latex, acrylates, synthetic plasters, synthetic resin lacquers, clear lacquers, nitrogenous alcohol varnishes, antifoulings, matt, polished, fillers, fiberglass glues and polyurethane foams, on bases resistant to solvents such as natural stone, wood, metal, reinforced with fiberglass, wood, gel-coat... Although macs Asur acts on a 2-component system (not epoxy), if it is not powerful or fast enough for your case , use Oxystrip macs with great action capacity even on 2-component systems. It is used in a large number of sectors such as restoration, civil works, industry in general, nautical, etc.
-From 300 ml. up to 2000ml/m². It is recommended to use an average calculation factor of 1 to 1.4, that is, to strip 100 microns of dry paint, approximately 100-140 microns of wet stripper will be needed.
Recommendations for use:
-Do not apply on icy surfaces or surfaces at risk of snowfall in the 24 hours following the application of the product.
-It is not recommended to apply it in areas where it touches the sun a lot.
-The minimum application temperature is 10ºC. Basically, high temperatures speed up the pickling reaction process, while low temperatures slow it down considerably. In general, and especially if it is windy or the sun has a strong influence on evaporation, we recommend covering the application with a thin plastic that maintains humidity and feeds back its action.
-Once macs Asur has been applied, and its function has been carried out, it is recommended to carry out a gentle cleaning with the FK-12 detergent cleaner. For further details, consult the technical data sheet and/or application guides, and the safety data sheet.
How to use:
-Before applying macs Asur, stir the product mechanically until it has a homogeneous consistency. Try above all a saturated application of the product. In the case of very thick layers of paint, first scratch off the loose layers and then apply Asur macs. Apply evenly with an airless sprayer, natural bristle brush or roller. In large surfaces, to optimize consumption and speed up the process, we recommend covering the stripper with a plastic film applied with a roller without pressing after its application. Leave to act between 1 and up to 24 - 48 hours. After 1 hour, carry out tests with a spatula to determine if the stripper has effectively reached the base, since that will be the ideal time to first remove the bulk of the stripper with trowels and spatulas, and then rinse with pressurized water ( preferably hot), always from bottom to top.
-In the original closed container, in a cool place protected from frost and for a maximum of 24 months.
